A boundary/topographic survey is the highest-priority collection item for this project. Without it, all setback, height, and envelope calculations are provisional.
Current documentation
The project workspace at /Volumes/Proj/proj/CAD/garage/ contains:
existing-site/: Photographic survey and measurements of the existing garage, slab, walls, and surrounding yardbackyard-current/: Blender scene reconstructing the existing backyard with garage, landscaping, and verified measurements- Roof condition: The existing asphalt shingle roof was installed prior to 1990 and requires asbestos testing before demolition
- Electrical: 200A main service already present (verified by owner)
Collection priorities
- Boundary/topographic survey showing the garage, house, outbuilding, property lines, easements, grades, trees, overhead/underground utilities, and adjacent improvements
- Measured existing-condition set with structural condition assessment including slab, walls, and foundations
- Asbestos test on existing roof materials
- Utility locate for gas, electric, water, and sewer lines
- Parcel/zoning/overlay report from the City of San Diego
